WHAT ARE THE
SASKATOON SOAPS?

The Saskatoon Soaps are a group of local actors who have been performing improvisational style comedy for nearly 25 years. The whole adventure began back in 1984 as a part of the, then new, Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan venture. Since that time the Soaps have evolved into the entertainment choice on Friday nights for thousands of Saskatchewanians.

In our long history, our cast members have included, writers and performers that have become major innovators in the Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and in the North American arts scene. No matter where they may end up, onstage at the Persephone Theatre, on the small screen in commercials or t.v. shows, or even in Hollywood big screen productions, the Soaps is where talent comes to play.

We have had the great priviledge of performing all over Canada's greatest province and would love for you to come see our shows, or hire us for your next event. We perform monthly at the Broadway Theatre 9:30 p.m.
